21ST FEBRUARY 2024 - RAINBOW BALL

In 2024, the EFL launched the “Rainbow Ball” campaign, which saw all games across the EFL use Rainbow coloured footballs in their fixtures across that specific weekend.

As part of this the EFL gave away 10 Rainbow Balls and asked Football Clubs to nominate individuals to receive one. Mansfield Town nominated our Co-Chair Kieran Halpin-Danby to receive one, and the EFL selected him!

Kieran said, “I am absolutely delighted to receive this football, here at Proud Stags we have worked really hard in our first few seasons as a group and I am so pleased that this work has not gone unnoticed. I thank everyone involved in Proud Stags so far, whether that’s joining as a member or getting more involved, just thank you. Also a huge thank you to Mansfield Town FC, for the support shown to our group and for putting my name forward to receive this”

Proud Stags are pleased that this campaign has kicked off, and we’re looking forward to seeing how this campaign progresses over the years.
